Inés Sastre
Inés Sastre’s formidable beauty didn’t go unnoticed for film directors and the fashion industry in the late 1980s. She made her debut in Carlos Saura’s 1987 film El Dorado. Thanks to this role, photographer Alberto García-Alix shoot a portrait of her highlighting her adolescence’s sensual side. In 1989, Sastre won the Elite Model Look contest, which launched her career internationally. She cat-walked for Jean Paul-Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Lanvin and Chanel, among others. Inés’s elegance and sexy minimalism also drew the attention of Lancôme, becoming the image of the Trêsor fragrance from 1996 to 2007. She has been on the cover of several magazines, including Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone and S Moda. Inés Sastre was awarded with the Medal of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Minister of Culture in recognition for her work.
