If you could choose the top 3 moments of your career, what would they be?
- - My first international runway show, Armani Privé during Paris Haute Couture Week, in January 2013. I remember the nerves, the excitement, the innocence… I look back very fondly on that 17-year-old girl who was simply trying to fit in and find her place in a world that was so unfamiliar to her.
- - Walking the runway with my daughter, both while she was in my belly and later in my arms. Walking pregnant during Fashion Week, both in Paris and Barcelona, was very special, but walking with my two-month-old baby at the L’Oréal Paris show in Madrid was even more so. A memory I will always carry with me.
- - Where I am now in my career as a model. My career has had many different chapters, and I’ve gone through phases with very different goals and ambitions. Right now, I’m very happy with the stage of my life I’m experiencing in fashion. It’s a much more mature and peaceful chapter that allows me to enjoy my work without losing my routine and my home life.
How does your beauty routine change when you travel?
It doesn’t. I’m not someone with a very extensive beauty routine. I always carry my facial cleanser, micellar water, a good makeup remover, toner and moisturizer. Oh, and eye patches! I get so annoyed when I forget them. I love putting them on before I head to work.
What can you never leave home without in your bag?
Deodorant, perfume, wipes, sunglasses, a bottle of water and a portable charger.
What advice would you give your 10-years-ago self?
Love myself more, and be happier and more grateful for the present instead of worrying so much about the future.
How do you balance your career as a model with motherhood?
Fashion and my work as a model have allowed me to spend so much time with my daughter. She never went to nursery school, and that’s thanks to my work. She has been with me backstage at so many shows, and she loves coming to watch me walk the runway.
What’s the best thing about coming home after a runway show?
Being with my girl!!! Easy question.
