When she was 14 years old she was discovered by an Italian scouter while she was shopping in a supermarket. Carmen Kass has appeared on the cover of many magazines like Numéro, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. She was chosen “best model of the year” by Vogue in 2000. Kass is considered one of the most important models of her generation. In 2000 she appeared covered up with gold for the campaign of J’Adore, by Christian Dior. Carmen Kass has been working with great brands such as Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Hoss Intropia, Gucci and even with General Motors. She opened the 1999 Victoria’s Secret show and has been part of them the years 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2008. Carmen Kass is known for the amazing power she shows when modeling on the runways.
