This Pride 2024, we’d like to shout and vindicate the importance of equality, respect and inclusion for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. In a world still brimming with discrimination and prejudice, it’s essential to celebrate diversity and remember that each person’s love and essence is valuable and worthy of respect.

This Pride, as in all that came before, we want to be allowed to be and to live in peace.</div><div><br></div><div>We’d like to share the hope of a future where the LGTBIQ+ community can live without fear and have the same rights and opportunities as any other person. Fighting for them is not only a matter of social justice but also of humanity. We must support and be allies in building a fairer society for all. The far-right wants us to hide, so let it be known that we’re LGTBIQ+ because we are proud of it. We’re here, and we’re not second-class citizens… and if it’s war they want, that’s what they’ll get.</div>

With AI resources multiplying and growing more intuitive, sketching, draping, and sampling are giving way to prompting, iterating, and rendering. Craft is turning into code. Fashion is no longer confined to the studio; it now unfolds across screens, where a new generation of creators is finding its footing in the algorithmic realm.</div><div><br></div><div>Initiatives like The New Black position themselves as digital ateliers for the AI age: open, fast, and radically accessible. Interfaces that once required technical fluency or expensive software now invite experimentation through plain language. For emerging talents, it’s a powerful gateway. Why book a session when you can chat with a bot that’s available 24/7, free of charge, and trained on millions of data points? The image-maker now competes with a machine that never sleeps and knows every microtrend in circulation.</div><div><br></div><div>Meanwhile, platforms such as Daydream are reframing how fashion is discovered. Marketed as an “AI-powered inspiration engine,” it reorganizes how users encounter style not by brand or season, but through adaptive pathways of desire. Rather than dictating trends, it’s about decentralizing them.</div><div><br></div><div>In this new landscape, taste is no longer a slow-brewing sensibility—it’s a service. Curated, automated, and always on.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size: 18px;">Pixel-Perfect Faces</span></span></div><div><br></div><div>They don’t age, blink off-beat, or ask for a day rate. Digital models—designed by humans, trained by datasets, and optimized for engagement—have quietly slipped into the front rows of fashion. Figures like Shudu, often dubbed “the world’s first digital supermodel,” or Spanish Aitana López, an entirely AI-generated influencer, now land brand deals, rack up followers, and front campaigns that blur the line between real and rendered.</div><div><br></div><div>At first glance, these avatars promise efficiency. No travel. No logistics. No human error. For brands, they offer full creative control over appearance, lighting, setting, and even personality. But beneath the surface, a more complicated picture emerges: one in which visibility and representation are simulated, not lived. Diversity becomes a visual filter. Identity, an asset to be programmed.</div><div><br></div><div>This phenomenon could bring tangible consequences for those behind the profession. If campaigns were to be built around virtual bodies, the demand for real ones could fade, leading to fewer jobs, fewer castings, and fewer chances for aspiring models to break into an industry already marked by volatility and gatekeeping. The competition would come without contracts, fatigue, or flaws.</div><div><br></div><div>While synthetic faces are often praised for championing diversity, they do so without stories, struggle, or lived identity. Pero bajo la superficie se dibuja un panorama más inquietante: uno en el que la visibilidad y la representación se simulan, pero no se viven. La diversidad se convierte en filtro visual. La identidad, en atributo programable.</div><div><br></div><div>Este fenómeno podría acarrear consecuencias tangibles para quienes ejercen la profesión. Si las campañas empezaran a construirse en torno a cuerpos virtuales, la demanda de presencias reales podría disiparse, reduciendo castings, oportunidades y contrataciones para modelos emergentes en una industria ya marcada por la inestabilidad y la exclusión.                                                                     <div>Pride is not silence.&nbsp;</div><div>Not assimilation.&nbsp;</div><div>Not self-erasure.&nbsp;</div><div>Not apology.</div><div><br></div><div>Pride is showing up.</div><div>Speaking out.</div><div>Being visible, even when it’s inconvenient.</div><div>Walking with intention.</div><div>Dressing without fear.</div><div>Speaking with your hands.</div><div>Taking up space with your body — even when it doesn’t fit expectations.</div><div>It’s queerness expressed through gesture, attitude, volume. Through what some call “too much.”</div><div><br></div><div>To be proud is to be loud.</div><div>As in visible, unmissable.</div><div>As in: “I will not dilute myself so you can be comfortable.”</div><div><br></div><div>Because yes — femininity in men, masculinity in women, gender nonconformity in everyone — that too is pride. And it deserves the mic.</div><div><br></div><div>We’ve been told to tone it down.&nbsp;</div><div>To act straight.</div><div>To fit in.</div><div><br></div><div>But flamboyance is not a phase.</div><div>Butch is not a costume.</div><div>Queer expression is not a problem — it’s power.&nbsp;</div><div>And that’s why we turn the volume up.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px;">Being oneself: visibility as power</span></div><div><br></div><div>In queer life, visibility is never just about being seen — it’s about being interpreted. And not always correctly. It can be both liberating and dangerous. A gesture, a pitch, a haircut can carry more meaning than a full sentence. Sometimes it signals safety. Sometimes it invites violence. But often, it’s not a choice — it’s simply who we are. Unapologetically.</div><div><br></div><div>To be visible is to risk being read before being known. And yet, choosing to be visible remains one of the most powerful things we can do.</div><div><br></div><div>For some, that visibility takes the shape of softness in a body expected to be hard. For others, it’s in the refusal to smooth out edges, to "pass", to explain. Whether it comes through butch masculinity, femme flamboyance, or a quiet defiance of gendered codes, this expression is rarely casual — it’s built on years of tension, observation, resistance.</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;Writer Flanagan McPhee tweeted: “Every time I speak, I feel like I’m undoing years of being erased.” That feeling — of pushing back against centuries of misrecognition — is familiar to many. And it reminds us that visibility, when claimed on one’s own terms, is not about performance. It’s about presence. Not about standing out. But about no longer being asked to disappear.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px;">Love Is LoveTM</span></div><div><br></div><div>Each June, the flood begins. Rainbow logos bloom like clockwork. Collections rebrand as “inclusive.” Campaigns speak of love and liberation. But come July, the colours fade — and so does the noise.</div><div><br></div><div>In the age of marketing, queerness has become a currency. A tool to boost relevance, to signal progressiveness, to momentarily “diversify” the grid. But what happens when that spotlight is borrowed, not lived? When queerness becomes aesthetic, and solidarity a seasonal strategy?</div><div><br></div><div>Queerness isn’t a trend. It doesn’t follow seasonal logic. It doesn’t fit the marketing calendar. It doesn’t flatten itself for convenience. It lives in the everyday — complex, contradictory, and deeply embodied.</div><div><br></div><div>Representation without structural change is just performance. Support without commitment is just branding. And too often, we’re offered tokens where there should be presence. A flash of colour. A borrowed face. A curated moment. But if there’s no one queer in the boardroom, no one behind the camera, no one in the creative brief... what are we really celebrating? Are you here because it matters, or because it sells?</div><div><br></div><div>Still, there are gestures that resist simplification. When “Protect the Dolls” moves from a printed phrase to a political demand. When Alex Consani takes the runway not just as a model, but as a trans woman refusing to be exceptionalised. When Lauren Chan graces the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and brings queerness and body politics into a mainstream that still struggles to hold either. When Hari Nef or Hunter Schafer appear in campaigns without hiding the tension they carry — and without being asked to.</div><div><br></div><div>These aren’t diversity checkboxes. They’re cultural forces. Interruptions. Frictions. Refusals to be tamed. And they remind us that Pride doesn’t ask to be included — it claims space.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold;">Why we raise our voice</span></div><div><br></div><div>At UNO, we don’t believe in representation as an afterthought. We don’t believe in celebrating diversity when it’s convenient, or in spotlighting identities only when the algorithm rewards it.</div><div><br></div><div>We work in an industry shaped by images — and images shape how we’re seen. Who gets to be looked at. Who gets to be hired. Who gets to be imagined.</div><div><br></div><div>That’s why we’ve made space not just for different faces, but for different ways of being. For bodies that carry stories. For identities that aren’t always easy to define. For voices that don’t echo the mainstream — and never intended to.</div><div><br></div><div>From day one, our job has never been to polish or neutralise. It’s been to accompany. To amplify. To insist that beauty isn’t found in erasure, but in specificity. In presence that isn’t asked to compromise.</div><div><br></div><div>We don’t raise our voice because it’s fashionable.&nbsp;</div><div>We raise it because too many still don’t get to.</div></div>

Y merece un micrófono.</div><div><br></div><div>Nos han dicho que bajemos el tono.&nbsp;</div><div>Que nos ajustemos a la norma.</div><div>Que encajemos.</div><div><br></div><div>Pero la pluma no es una fase.</div><div>Lo butch no es un disfraz.</div><div>Lo queer no es un problema. Es poder.&nbsp;</div><div>Y por eso, subimos el volumen.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px;">Ser unx mismx: la visibilidad como poder</span></div><div><br></div><div>En la vida queer, ser visible no es solo cuestión de ser vistx, sino también de ser interpretadx. Y no siempre de forma justa. Puede ser liberador, sí, pero también peligroso. Un gesto, un tono de voz, un corte de pelo pueden decir más que un discurso entero. A veces son señal de seguridad; otras, incitan a la violencia. Pero a menudo no es una elección — sencillamente, somos así. Sin complejos.</div><div><br></div><div>Ser visible es exponerse a ser leídx antes de ser conocidx. Y aun así, decidir mostrarse sigue siendo uno de los actos más poderosos que podemos ejercer.</div><div><br></div><div>Para algunxs, esa visibilidad toma la forma de una suavidad que no se espera en su cuerpo. Para otrxs, está en la negativa a disimular los bordes, a “pasar desapercibidx”, a justificarse. A veces se manifiesta en una masculinidad butch, a veces en una exuberancia femme, a veces en una</div><div>&nbsp;resistencia silenciosa a los códigos de género. Pero casi nunca es casual. Es una forma que nace de años de tensión, de observación, de autodefensa.</div><div><br></div><div>El escritor Flanagan McPhee tuiteó recientemente: “Cada vez que hablo, siento que deshago años de haber sido borrado.” Ese sentimiento —el de dejar atrás siglos de ausencia de reconocimiento— nos recuerda que la visibilidad, cuando se reclama en términos propios, no es performativo. Se trata de presencia. No de destacar, sino de dejar de pedir permiso para ser y estar.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px;">Love Is LoveTM</span></div><div><br></div><div>Cada junio empieza la avalancha. Logos arcoíris que florecen como por arte de magia. Colecciones que se lanzan con la etiqueta de “inclusiva”. Campañas que hablan de amor y liberación. Pero llega julio, y los colores se apagan. Un recurso para ganar relevancia, para simular progreso, para diversificar un grid durante unas semanas. Pero ¿qué pasa cuando esa visibilidad es prestada, no vivida; cuando lo queer se vuelve estética, y la solidaridad, una estrategia estacional?</div><div><br></div><div>Ser queer no es una tendencia. No sigue la lógica de las temporadas. No encaja en el calendario de campañas. No se suaviza para agradar. Se vive cada día — de forma compleja, contradictoria, profundamente encarnada.</div><div><br></div><div>La representación sin cambios estructurales es solo una puesta en escena. El apoyo sin compromiso, puro branding. Y son demasiadas las veces en que nos ofrecen tokens donde debería haber presencia. Un destello de color. Una cara prestada. Un momento cuidado al milímetro. Pero si no hay personas queer en la sala de decisiones, detrás de la cámara, en el briefing creativo... ¿qué estamos celebrando realmente? ¿Estás aquí porque importa o porque vende?</div><div><br></div><div>Aun así, hay gestos que se oponen a la simplificación. Cuando “Protect the Dolls” deja de ser una camiseta para convertirse en una exigencia política. Cuando Alex Consani pisa la pasarela no solo como modelo, sino como mujer trans que se niega a ser tratada como una excepción. En tiempos de incertidumbre, las marcas tienden a recurrir a lo que perciben como una apuesta segura, lo que suele traducirse en volver a nombrar a un hombre. Pero los cimientos de esta lógica tambalean: numerosos estudios han demostrado que las empresas con liderazgo diverso no solo son más innovadoras, sino también más rentables. El éxito continuado de Prada, Hermès y Versace, todas pilotadas por mujeres, constata que las firmas dirigidas por ellas son una ventaja competitiva.</div><div><br></div><div>Una contradicción que se hace aún más evidente en un espacio en que las mujeres dominan las pasarelas, tanto en visibilidad como en ingresos. Las modelos ganan de manera sistemática más que sus compañeros masculinos, una rara avis en la brecha salarial de género.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 20px;">Imaginando un futuro diferente</span></div><div><br></div><div>El 8M no debería ser únicamente un reconocimiento, sino una oportunidad para desmantelar las estructuras que históricamente han relegado a las mujeres a un segundo plano y para celebrar sus innegables contribuciones en el ámbito de la cultura. ¿Qué sería la moda si más mujeres estuvieran al mando? ¿Y si la industria representara realmente a quienes visten sus diseños, sostienen su economía y definen lo que en esencia es hoy?</div><div><br></div><div>La respuesta no es una conjetura: ya la hemos vislumbrado en el trabajo de algunas que han luchado por hacerse un hueco. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Gabriela Hearst</span>, al frente de Chloé, ha impulsado una visión de futuro que ha reformulado las reglas sobre cómo la alta moda puede comprometerse con la responsabilidad ambiental. Stella McCartney, pionera del lujo consciente, ha construido una firma global que demuestra que ética e innovación pueden convivir junto al atractivo. The Row, fundada por <span style="font-weight: bold;">Mary-Kate y Ashley Olsen</span>, ha cultivado un culto en torno a su marca precisamente porque entiende la vida de las mujeres más allá de la estética. El legado de <span style="font-weight: bold;">Sarah Burton</span> en McQueen supera la alta cultura; su obra es artesanía, storytelling y una negativa a encajar en nociones predefinidas de éxito.</div><div><br></div><div>Nos gustaría pensar que imaginar un futuro más equitativo para la moda no es un acto de idealismo, sino una exigencia para que una industria obsesionada con el progreso rinda cuentas con ese ethos.</div><div><br></div><div>La moda siempre ha definido la manera en que vemos el mundo.                                                                     <div><br></div><div>We’ve witnessed it: fashion is a means to express style or identity and a powerful tool to promote social and political change. Even if, over the ages, fashion has been accused (sometimes rightly so) of being superficial, designers and brands have found it an effective channel for speaking out against injustice, defending human rights and supporting global movements – think haircuts to challenge authority, fashion shows designed to highlight essential causes and open debates about patriarchy and binary society. Fashion has been, is, and will be a tool, and like any tool, it can be used to build, advance, or destroy; that is why it is necessary to stop for a second and think about its social importance.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">Fashion as a language of social struggles</span></div><div><br></div><div>Throughout history, different styles have marked political stances or cultural movements: punk as a symbol of rebellion, hippie clothes as a cry for peace, normcore optimisation of the 2000s, or the power suits of the 1980s to underline women's advancement in the workplace. Today, fashion is a sophisticated means of activism, telling stories that inspire and educate through garments or accessories and using the body as a medium of self-expression and vindication.</div><div><br></div><div>One of the areas where it’s had a significant impact is feminism. In its 2017 runway show, for example, Dior presented T-shirts that read ‘We Should All Be Feminists’, a direct message taken from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's essay. These garments not only had a global impact but also redirected profits to organisations that support gender equality. It was the beginning of the third wave of feminism. While fashion turned a profit in sales, it (also) elevated the movement to something aspirational and desirable, easing the general public into conversations previously restricted to certain spheres. Ultimately, what mattered was that everyone began to realise that equality was for all.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">Fashion and LGTBIQ+ rights</span></div><div><br></div><div>The LGTBIQ+ collective has been one of the great forerunners of fashion, with its members being key in advancing many trends. Design geniuses such as Vivienne Westwood, Mugler, Walter van Beirendonck, Alexander McQueen, Christopher Bailey for Burberry, Raf Simmons or Thom Browne have created collections where everything queer is made visible and celebrated; from giving space to oppressed collectives to blurring the lines between genders by changing the traditional uses of skirts and suits, they have been the spearhead of many demands that would end up permeating society.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Let's go further into the struggle and activism. There’ve been iconic characters who have changed entire paradigms, sometimes by exposing themselves and moving the boundaries between aesthetics, genders and norms imposed by the hegemonic culture. Hunter Schafer, with her role in Euphoria and her campaigns for Prada or her appearance in the Pirelli calendar or Alex Consani winning the Model of the Year award at only 21 years old, have been, among many other personalities, examples of how reality is changing to be more inclusive thanks to the relentless work of many. They have given their all to pave the way for others who will come after them, in the same way that pioneers such as April Ashley, Tracey Norman, Teri Toye or Caroline Cossey did. As JW Anderson says in an interview with Vogue: ‘Fashion has to get to a point where we stop having to talk about gender’.</div><div><br></div><div>During Pride Month, many brands simply put up the LGTBIQ+ flag as their profile picture to jump on the bandwagon and not appear insensitive. However, many other brands launch special editions to raise funds for organisations that fight discrimination and support the community. For instance, Savage X Fenty, singer Rihanna's lingerie brand, challenges traditional gender norms and celebrates bodies of all types. It’s taken time, but now fashion is looking for unexpected diversity.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">Environmental activism on the catwalk</span></div><div><br></div><div>Sustainability has also become another social initiative in which fashion has much to say. Five years ago, the biggest names in the fashion industry (Adidas, Burberry, Chanel, H&amp;M, Inditex, Nike, Prada, Kering...) signed a document called the ‘Fashion Pact’ at a G7 summit in Biarritz, the central theme of which was climate change. There, they committed themselves to reducing their harmful impact on the environment and greenhouse gas emissions; it would be interesting to know, five years later, how they have managed to do so or if they are on the right track, as they promised before the pandemic.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>For example, designers such as Stella McCartney have committed themselves to sustainable feminism, promoting equality through ethical fashion and environmental responsibility, demonstrating that women's rights are intrinsically linked to the struggle for a fairer world. Undeniably, the commitment to a more sustainable business model is something all firms are thinking about, particularly when, at times and in certain brands, fashion involves an unfair exploitation of natural and human resources. No one seems to have the perfect solution. Ending the production of collections that become obsolete every two weeks? Sanctioning those companies that do not comply with the minimum requirements of sustainability? Making consumers aware of the actual practices of each brand? The options are many and varied.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">Inspiration for change</span></div><div><br></div><div>We have always dressed to reflect who we are and what we think; from cultural symbols to taking off our bras for women's freedom, from the upper class' clothes to the working class' overalls, clothes have never been just ‘clothes’. Fashion brings up issues important to society; it brings them to the table by uniting people around them through a universal language, i.e. aesthetics. Garments are not only something to crave after but also canvases for ideas, grievances and politics; whether through feminist messages, LGTBIQ+ inclusivity, sustainability or support for local causes, fashion is proving that a simple dress can be the start of a revolution.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>

Aunque durante las épocas ha estado acusada (a veces con acierto) de superficial, desde cortes de pelo para desafiar a la autoridad hasta desfiles diseñados para visibilizar causas importantes y abrir debates sobre el patriarcado y la sociedad binaria, diseñadores y marcas han encontrado en ella un canal efectivo para alzar la voz frente a las injusticias, defender derechos humanos y apoyar movimientos globales. La moda ha sido, es y será una herramienta y, como toda herramienta, puede ser usada para construir y avanzar o para destruir; por eso es necesario parar un segundo y pensar sobre su importancia social.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">La moda como lenguaje de las luchas sociales</span></div><div><br></div><div>En la historia, diferentes estilos han marcado posturas políticas o movimientos culturales: el punk como símbolo de rebeldía, la ropa hippie como un grito por la paz, el normcore como la optimización dosmilera o los power suits de los 80 para subrayar el avance femenino en el ámbito laboral. Hoy, la moda se ha sofisticado como herramienta de activismo, contando historias que inspiran y educan, pero no solo a través de prendas o accesorios, sino también utilizando el propio cuerpo como lugar de autoexpresión y reivindicación.</div><div><br></div><div>Una de las áreas donde ha tenido un impacto significativo es el feminismo. En su desfile de 2017, por ejemplo, Dior presentó camisetas con la frase "We Should All Be Feminists" (Todos deberíamos ser feministas), un mensaje directo tomado del ensayo de Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Estas prendas no solo tuvieron una repercusión global, sino que también redirigieron las ganancias hacia organizaciones que apoyan la igualdad de género. Era el comienzo de la tercera ola del feminismo y, aunque la moda la convirtiera en algo con lo que (también) poder vender camisetas, elevó a su vez el movimiento a algo aspiracional y deseable, acercando al público general a unas conversaciones antes restringidas a ciertas esferas. Al final, lo importante era que el público general empezara a darse cuenta de que la igualdad era cosa de todas las personas.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">La moda y los derechos LGTBIQ+</span></div><div><br></div><div>El colectivo LGTBIQ+ ha sido uno de los grandes precursores de la moda, siendo sus integrantes las personas clave en el avance de muchas tendencias. Genios del diseño como Vivienne Westwood, Mugler, Walter van Beirendonck, Alexander McQueen, Christopher Bailey para Burberry, Raf Simmons o Thom Browne han creado colecciones donde se visibiliza y se celebra todo lo queer; desde dar espacios a colectivos oprimidos hasta desdibujar las líneas entre los géneros cambiando los usos tradicionales de faldas y trajes, han sido la punta de lanza de muchas reivindicaciones que acabarían calando en sociedad.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Si vamos más allá en la lucha y el activismo, ha habido personajes icónicos que, a costa de exponerse y mover las fronteras entre estéticas, géneros y normas impuestas por lo hegemónico, han cambiado paradigmas enteros. Hunter Schafer con su papel en Euphoria y sus campañas para Prada o su aparición en el calendario Pirelli o Alex Consani ganando el premio a Modelo del Año con solo 21 años han sido, entre muchas otras personalidades, exponentes de que la realidad está cambiando para ser más inclusiva gracias al trabajo incesante de muchas. Han puesto toda su persona para abrir el camino a otras que vendrán después, de la misma manera que hicieron pioneras como April Ashley, Tracey Norman, Teri Toye o Caroline Cossey. Como dice JW Anderson en una entrevista a Vogue: ““La moda debe llegar a un punto en el que dejemos de tener que hablar del género”.</div><div><br></div><div>Durante el Mes del Orgullo, hay muchas marcas que se ponen la bandera LGTBIQ+ como foto de perfil simplemente para subirse al carro y no parecer insensibles, pero muchas otras marcas lanzan ediciones especiales para recaudar fondos destinados a organizaciones que luchan contra la discriminación y apoyan a la comunidad. Otro ejemplo es el de Savage X Fenty, la marca de lencería de la cantante Rihanna, que desafía las normas tradicionales de género y celebra cuerpos de todo tipo. Ha costado, pero ahora en la moda se busca una diversidad que antes no se esperaba.</div><div>El activismo ambiental en las pasarelas</div><div><br></div><div>La sostenibilidad también se ha convertido en otra iniciativa social en la que la moda tiene mucho que decir. Hace cinco años, los grandes nombres de la industria de la moda más conocidos (Adidas, Burberry, Chanel, H&amp;M, Inditex, Nike, Prada, Kering…) firmaron un documento llamado “Pacto de la Moda” en una cumbre del G7 celebrada en Biarritz cuyo tema central era el cambio climático. Ahí se comprometieron a disminuir su impacto nocivo en el entorno y a reducir sus emisiones de gases efecto invernadero; sería interesante conocer, cinco años más tarde, cómo han logrado hacerlo o si están en el camino correcto, como prometieron antes de la pandemia.&nbsp;</div><div>Diseñadoras como Stella McCartney, por ejemplo, han apostado por el feminismo sostenible, promoviendo la igualdad a través de la moda ética y la responsabilidad medioambiental, demostrando que los derechos de las mujeres están intrínsecamente ligados a la lucha por un mundo más justo. Es innegable que la apuesta por un modelo de negocio más sostenible para una línea de producción que, a veces y en ciertas marcas, supone una explotación injusta de los recursos naturales y humanos, es algo en boca de todas las firmas, aunque nadie tenga la tecla perfecta para dar con las solución. ¿Terminar con la producción de colecciones que se quedan obsoletas cada dos semanas? ¿Sancionar a aquellas empresas que no cumplan con los requisitos mínimos de la sostenibilidad? ¿Concienciar a los consumidores de las prácticas reales de cada marca? Las opciones son varias y diversas.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 20px;">Inspiración para el cambio</span></div><div><br></div><div>Nos hemos vestido para reflejar lo que somos y lo que pensamos desde siempre; desde símbolos culturales hasta quitarse el sujetador para reivindicar la libertad femenina, desde la ropa de la gente de clase alta a los monos de trabajo de la clase trabajadora, la ropa nunca ha sido solo “ropa”. La moda saca a relucir temas que son importantes para la sociedad; los pone sobre la mesa uniendo a las personas en torno a ellos mediante un lenguaje universal, es decir, la estética. Las prendas no solo son objetos de deseo, sino también lienzos donde se plasman ideas, reclamos y política; ya sea a través de mensajes feministas, inclusividad LGTBIQ+, sostenibilidad o apoyo a causas locales, la moda está demostrando que un simple vestido puede ser el comienzo de una revolución.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div></div>
